Aberdeen Golf Club
You don’t have to fly to Scotland to experience rolling fairways – you can experience similarly remarkable terrain on the Highlands Nine at Aberdeen Country Club. Catch the wind just right, and you could play the Meadows Nine with just your driver and putter. One of Myrtle Beach’s most diverse layouts, Aberdeen provides a memorable round with something for everyone!
Blackmoor Golf Club
Blackmoor, Gary Player’s only Grand Strand signature course, is built on the historic Longwood Plantation, which parallels the Waccamaw River. This spectacular undulating design takes advantage of the natural terrain and beautiful vistas making it a most enjoyable place to play. As the world’s most traveled golfer, Player was able to use his wisdom and talent to provide a challenging course for the most capable golfer. Yet, the clever layout provides the high handicapper a very fun round.
Brunswick Plantation Resort and Golf
The 27 holes of championship layout golf on our Azalea, Dogwood, and Magnolia courses provide a challenging and enjoyable experience for avid golfers and beginners. Brunswick Plantation features perfect Bermuda grass greens all year.
Burning Ridge Golf Club
Burning Ridge Golf Club is a course with a fun layout and a character of its own. Whether you’re a high handicap golfer looking for an enjoyable round, or a scratch golfer looking for a great test of your game, Burning Ridge can accommodate your need. While playing, you will encounter elegantly shaped mounded fairways and large yawning bunkers before you reach our smooth putting surfaces.
Colonial Charters Golf Club
Under new ownership, Colonial Charters underwent a recent renovation and reopened with its original name. The renovation project included a facelift for the course and clubhouse, guaranteeing Myrtle Beach golfers a facility that offers an abundance of quality and value. The layout weaves through mature hardwoods native to the South Carolina coast and features a pair of green-side waterfalls. Colonial Charters promises great value and it delivers.
Founders Club
Sitting comfortably in the top tier of American courses, the Founders Club is located along the South Strand in quaint and quiet Pawleys Island. Golfers visiting Myrtle Beach appreciate the course for its unique look that stands out from its Lowcountry cousins. Raised fairways and minimal cart paths preserve a peaceful atmosphere at Founders Club.
Glen Dornoch
One of the most demanding par 4s in Myrtle Beach, the 16th hole at Glen Dornoch gets even the most skilled veterans longing for a stiff drink by the time they sink their putt. Not to worry, the 17th is absolutely stunning, and the 18th leads you straight to the clubhouse deck, where you can finally get that refreshing and well-earned beverage.
Hackler Course
The Hackler Course at Coastal Carolina has enjoyed a reawakening over the last several years. Noted architect Craig Schreiner led a renovation that included the remaking of the greens, topped by the installation of MiniVerde Bermuda grass, a new state-of-the-art practice facility, and the other cosmetic changes. The course is staffed by members of Coastal Carolina’s acclaimed Professional Golf Management program and they bring life to the course and by extension golf in Myrtle Beach.
International Club
Seamlessly blending both traditional architecture and modern challenges, the International Club, listed on Golf Digest’s “Best Places to Play,” delivers a formidable yet rewarding golf experience. Playable by golfers of all levels, this Willard Byrd design is an immaculately maintained course that demands great ball striking and finishing on quick, smooth and true greens. International Club is always in outstanding shape, more than 300 palm trees enhance its aesthetics, and the par 3 11th hole is one of many memorable holes. International is one of Myrtle Beach’s quiet stars, a course that sends golfers home happy.
Litchfield Country Club
Litchfield Country Club was among the initial 8 courses built on the Grand Strand & was the first course in the Pawleys Island/Litchfield area. Mature tree-lined fairways wind amid the giant oaks and shimmering lakes of a former Carolina rice plantation, creating an extraordinarily challenging “country club” golf experience. While it’s popular for courses today to tweak their design, open for play in 1966, the course has maintained its original features, including player friendly greenside pathways for bump and run approach shots.
Long Bay Golf Club
Great golf courses are often described as where the holes become etched in your memory. Long Bay Club is such a course. The Long Bay Club is a magnificent Jack Nicklaus Signature Course that is consistently ranked among the top courses in the state. Deep pot bunkers and vast waste areas add a unique identity and challenge to this Nicklaus masterpiece. Formidable in every feature, Long Bay displays countless large man-made mounds, a demanding 137 slope from the championship tees (127 from the ladies), handsome but deceiving par-3 holes and bottomless bunkers.
Panther's Run Golf Links
Panther’s Run was born to be a different kind of challenge. Masterfully designed by Tim Cate, this course meanders through nature preserves and tests your abilities to blend precision with distance. Wide fairways twist and turn with water features to create visually scenic views. Bring your best game for the especially challenging #4 and be pleased with a score of par! Golf Digest agrees and placed Panther’s Run on their prestigious “Places To Play” list, as well as a “Top 30 in Myrtle Beach” rating from Links Magazine.
Shaftesbury Glen Golf & Fish Club
Inspired by the work of famed architect A.W. Tillinghast, Shaftesbury Glen is one of Myrtle Beach’s most player-friendly tee times. A former Myrtle Beach Area Golf Course of the Year, Shaftesbury features impeccably maintained bentgrass greens that are elevated and protected by the course’s trademark finger bunkers. Avoid those bunkers and you will have a chance to post the best score of your Myrtle Beach golf vacation.
Wedgefield Country Club
Wedgefield Country Club, situated along the winding banks of the Black River in Georgetown, S.C.. Wedgefield CC is a breathtaking example of South Carolina low country scenery and charm with amazing live Oaks, rolling fairways, and beautiful ponds. This 18-hole championship golf course was founded in 1972 and designed by the renowned Porter Gibson and Bob Toski. The par 72 course stretches to 7057 yards from the tips, featuring 17 water hazards to present a challenging layout.
